The Queen Ring

People used to wear shirts of small metal rings to protect themselves in battle. Today, this chainmail can be found in just a few wardrobes. However, more and more people are inspired by modern variations on maille work.

Using metal rings, any number of things may be crafted. Maille (or 'chainmail') can take the form of sheets of delicate rings flowing like silk, or chunky metal chains. It can be made into necklaces, bracelets, earring, belts or whatever your imagination calls for. The Queen Ring offers rings, books and tools to get you started. We also offer workshops and demonstrations.
