Rings in several sizes and materials to make your own maille. Sizes are wire thickness x inner diameter. Unless stated otherwise, there are 500 rings in each bag.

Cheap, lightweight, and easy to work with. Aluminium is perfect for beginning maillers or to try out new ideas. It is also great for when you want the look of steel without the weight.
For a nicer finish we recommend the shiny silvertoned aluminium rings. These are saw-cut and can be closed almost seamlessly. They also have more shine than the uncoloured aluminium rings. They're available in various sizes in the 'anodized aluminium' category.

PLEASE NOTE: All of our machine cut rings (1.2x5.0 mm, 1.2x6.6 mm, 1.6x6.6 mm, 1.6x8.2 mm en 1.6x10.0 mm) will be gradually replaced with saw-cut rings. Colours which sell out will not be restocked, but replaced with saw-cut rings.
If you have a large project for which you need a lot of these rings, please make sure you get enough of them so you don't end up not being able to finish your project. You can also contact us to discuss other options.
Black synthetic rubber rings. These rings cannot be opened, so in most cases they need to be used in combination with metal rings.
Strong and corrosion resistant. These are the toughest rings we have.
Stainless steel with a black coating.
Bronze is an alloy of mostly copper and tin. Is has a warm colour, and will darken over time unless it is cleaned.
Brass is a yellow coloured alloy of copper and zinc. This metal will tarnish to a dark brownish yellow.
Copper is a soft metal with a reddish colour, which gains a deep brown patina when left to it's own devices. Different treatments will let it form other, interesting colours.
Galvanized and uncoated mild steel. Uncoated mild steel can rust.
A hypoallergenic, lightweight and strong metal.
These rings are sterling silver, an alloy containing 92.5% silver. They are saw cut.
